Ubizo Geosolutions is a newly established multi-disciplinary surveying service provider that started trading in February 2019. This enterprise is rated as a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor status. The founding members are the registered professionals who possess sectional title, cadastral and engineering surveying proficiency. Ubizo Geosolutions is made up of young, energetic professionals that work like a well-oiled machine resulting in efficiency and productivity.

The company aims to be a one-stop shop for all Geomatics/Land Surveying related requirements for public-private individuals and the state departments as a whole.
To be a service provider that upholds high standards of professionalism and ethical values, and to play a role in the development of the new generation of geomatics practitioners in order to sustain the profession.
To be be a progressive practice that incorporates modern technology in the execution of all surveying tasks.

CADASTRAL SURVEYS
Cadastral surveying is important because it relates to a property’s security of tenure therefore proper documenting of property dimensions and rights is essential for property transfers.
ENGINEERING SURVEYS
Engineering Surveys relates to surveys undertaken for the purpose of the construction of any infrastructure, all be it during the design or construction phase.
GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS)
The integration of data is achieved through the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and databases.
When do You Need the services of Ubizo GeoSolutions?
When you make improvements to your land or property that is an immense financial investment and in order to manage risks, delays and prevent unplanned expenses, you must consult a professional land surveyor. Ubizo GeoSolutions provides services to help you when:
- A planning application is required by Local Authority i.e. change the zoning or usage rights of a property.
- Property is to be developed or improved.
- Smaller properties to be Consolidated into one.
- Property is to be subdivided into smaller portions; i.e. an Approved SG diagram is required.
- The physical position of a property’s boundary and/or its ‘corner beacon(s)’ are uncertain.
- There is evidence or allegation(s) of an encroachment.
- Rights in and over the property(ies) require to be created.
- A survey of a property is required.
- Government legislation requires an Approved SG diagram.
Full compliance with the following legislations is fundamental to all our work:
- Land Survey Act (Act 8 of 1997)
- Geomatics Profession Act (Act 19 of 2013)
- Occupational Health and Safety Act, ( 85 of 1993);
- Basic Conditions of Employment Act (Act 20 of 2013)
- National Environmental Management Act (Act 25 of 2014)
All surveys are undertaken under the direct supervision of a registered Geomatics Professional as required and prescribed in the South African Geomatics Profession Act, Act 19 of 2013.
